Following on from the news from early August 2024, the reliable German football newspaper Kicker has reported that Bayer Leverkusen are likely to choose New Balance as their shirt supplier from the 2025-26 season, replacing Castore.
New Balance to Become Leverkusen Kit Maker
According to Kicker, the new Bayer Leverkusen New Balance kit deal will run for five or six years and is expected to earn Bayer between €6M and €7M per season, double the current deal with Castore (€2M-3M per season).
Bayer Leverkusen's original kit deal with Castore was to start from 2022-23 and run for five years. However, this summer, Castore experienced major delivery issues and was unable to meet the significantly increased demand for Bayer's kits. As a result, Bayer Leverkusen wanted to end the current kit deal with Castore.
In addition to New Balance, Adidas is also trying (again) to become Bayer 04's kit supplier.
