Update: Confirming earlier leaks, Bayer Leverkusen has officially announced that New Balance will be the team's new kit supplier from next season, replacing Castore.
New Balance Becomes Leverkusen Kit Maker
The new Bayer Leverkusen New Balance kit deal is expected to run for five seasons (2025-26 to 2029-30) and is worth around €7 million per season.
Bayer Leverkusen's original kit deal with Castore was to start from 2022-23 and run for five years. However, this summer, Castore experienced major delivery issues and was unable to meet the significantly increased demand for Bayer's kits. As a result, Leverkusen ended the deal early and switched to New Balance.
Adidas is said to have tried to become Bayer 04's kit supplier, but apparently did not want to pay as much as New Balance. So they were not chosen.
