Update: Quite out of nowhere, Italian newspaper Il Giornale revealed in its print edition on April 29 2021 that the Nerazzurri are considering a deal with Adidas when their deal with Nike expires.
The newspaper says that the Inter Nike deal expires in 2022, so Adidas could become the club's kit maker from 2022-23. Previously, it was expected that the deal runs until 2024.

Adidas To Become Inter Milan Kit Maker?
According to website FCInterNews. It, Inter Milan is due to hold talks with Nike over a possible renewal. Nike currently pays Inter €10m a season, much less than other big teams, and also much less than Juventus, who are getting €51m Euro from Adidas a season.
FCInterNews says that Adidas could be interested in sponsoring Inter. Currently, they are only sponsoring one team in Italy, Juventus, after AC Milan signed with Puma.
Beppe Marotta, currently a general director with Inter, played a key role in Juventus' first deal with Adidas when he was director of sport at the club a few years ago.
On October 29, 2020, Inter announced that they have taken back their retail and licensing rights from technical partner Nike.
Since 1 November 2019, the new operations model between the Serie A outfit and Nike allows Inter to take full control of their product sales network.
“What we can officially announce today is that from Nike we bought back the rights of retail and licensing,” said Alessandro Antonello, Inter’s chief executive. “Through the repurchase of these rights, we will be able to generate new important revenues, which will go directly to the club. Then new frontiers are opened to face new markets.”
