To celebrate their upcoming 130th birthday on April 12, German 2. Bundesliga side Hannover 96 and their kit supplier Macron have officially launched a special-edition jersey. The the Hannover 2026-27 130th anniversary strip is released under the campaign motto "Teil dieser Geschichte" (Part of this history).

The Macron Hannover 2026-27 130th anniversary football shirt is a tribute to the club's origins. Looking back to the early 1900s, the shirt features a deep, intense shade of red.
The standout feature of the Macron Hannover 2026-27 130th anniversary football shirt is the tone-on-tone logo application. The Hannover 96 crest, the Macron Hero logo, the main sponsor, and the sleeve patches are all applied in the exact same shade of red as the shirt. This creates an almost invisible "stealth" effect.
The Macron Hannoverscher Sportverein von 1896 26-27 130th anniversary shirt is completed with classic black shorts, which also feature a tone-on-tone embroidered club crest.

Alongside the red outfield shirt, Macron also created a special Goalkeeper Kit. It features a silver-grey base with anthracite details, also utilizing the same classy tone-on-tone logo application.
