British brand Castore have signed various new teams for the 2022-2023 season. They call themselves Premium Performance Sportswear brand - but are they really one?
Founded in 2015, J.Carter Sporting Club Limited (operating as Castore) are a British manufacturer of sportswear and athletic clothing, headquartered in Manchester, England. The company have sponsorship deals with football teams, cricket teams and tennis players.
'Better Never Stops' is their slogan, but Castore have yet to reach 'good'
Castore 22-23 Kits Apparently Have Problems With Quality
There were two strange occurences in the past few weeks that cast doubt upon Castore being on top of their game.
Last weekend, the shirt of new Wolves signing Saša Kalajdžić ripped on the side. This is nothing uncommon, but the close-ups show off that the seams are bad.
Just one week prior, the crest of Bayer Leverkusen's Piero Hincapié completely came off. This is something we have never seen from Adidas or Nike.
Rangers's fans have been complaining about Castore's quality since 2020
Indeed, it is nothing new that Castore's products are apparently not at the highest level. Rangers supporters have been complaining about the quality of Castore's merchandise since ever the deal with Castore started in 2020.
In the 2022-23 season, all of Castore's jerseys feature the slogan "Better Never Stops". As of right now, Castore are not achieving anything special in terms of quality.
