A while back we reported about Puma's all-new football boot, the 'Ultra'. Although the Puma Ultra will not be released before shortly ahead of Euro 2020, a Celtic player was recently spotted wearing a pair of blackouts in training.
Celtic right back Jeremie Frimpong, who joined from Puma-sponsored Manchester City last summer, laced up in a pair of all-black Puma Ultra boots in training not too long ago.
The Puma Ultra boots worn by Frimpong boast a clean and lightweight look that immediately reminds us of the evoSpeed, which was discontinued three years ago.
Despite them being blacked-out, quite a few things can be said about the boots: they have a synthetic upper material and a one-piece tongue construction, while featuring traditional lacing. An external heel counter and a relatively subtle branding on the outstep round off the design.
