Last week, Adidas officially launched the 'Born for Goals' collection, their first major on-pitch pack of 2026. While the pack technically includes the next-generation Copa Pure 4, the brand's marketing suggests that only two silos matter.
Adidas Only Promotes F50 & Predator in New Pack - Copa Pure 4 Left Behind
In the launch campaign for the new collection, Adidas has focused its communication entirely on the Predator and F50 - the brand's two main commercial silos.
On X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, the brand's pinned posts and main posters feature only the F50 and Predator, completely excluding the Copa. The marketing tagline and imagery create a narrative of a binary choice, leaving the third silo out of the conversation.
Ambassador Push: A Stark Contrast
Adidas has mobilized nearly all of its top ambassadors for the F50 and Predator to maximize visibility. Players like Leo Messi, Jude Bellingham, Lamine Yamal, and Florian Wirtz have all received individual, high-quality photoshoots to promote the new colorways.
Next-Gen Copa Pure 4: The Forgotten Update?
The lack of promotion for the Copa Pure 4 is particularly surprising given that it is a next-generation boot. Usually, a generational update warrants a massive marketing push to explain the new tech and design.
Instead, the Copa Pure 4 seems to have been forgotten. There are very few promotional images available. While we have seen Manuel Neuer posing with the boots, other key faces of the silo, such as Alexis Mac Allister and Declan Rice, have not had individual campaign photos released (or at least, Adidas has not shared them).
It appears Adidas is putting all its eggs in the basket of speed and power, leaving the touch silo as a quiet alternative.
