'Fixed' Bayern München 25-26 Home Kit

Should Bayern München Have Done Without the Design for the Bayern 25-26 Home Kit?

In response to the backlash for the Bayern 25-26 home kit, we took matters into our own hands and created a mock-up of what the shirt would look like without the giant 'M' motif. The simplified version, which features a clean, all-red base with traditional white accents on the sleeves and logo, we believe, is a better representation of Bayern’s classic identity, proving that sometimes, less truly is more.

Gone are the clean, classic looks that defined many of Bayern’s previous kits. Instead, the new Bayern München 25-26 home jersey introduces a dramatic red-and-white graphic down the front, with harsh transitions and jagged lines to create a giant "M". While the traditional red remains, the visual execution has sparked backlash.

The three Adidas stripes remain on the shoulders, but they do little to balance out the chaos of the central design.

Fan reactions have been overwhelmingly negative, with many calling it “one of the worst Bayern kits ever”. Social media is flooded with memes and calls for Adidas to rethink its approach. For a club that usually prides itself on blending heritage with modern style, this feels like a misstep.

Bayern München kits often push boundaries, but this time the gamble might not pay off. Was the boldness worth it? Or should Bayern Munich have played it safe with something more timeless?
