With the NWSL 2023 season having kicked off this past weekend, we want to take a look at all the kits that will be worn by the 12 teams this year.

The wavefront pattern is meant to evoke both the rippling water that inspired the new Dynamo the Nike Houston Dash 2022 away jersey for this year as well as the city flag rippling in the breeze, according to the club.

Dubbed the 'Honor Kit', the Nike OL Reign 2022-23 away jersey is white with a red and blue stripe down the middle. The sleeve cuffs also feature these colors, the right red and the left blue.

The Nike Orlando Pride 2023 home shirt is called the "Highway Woman" jersey, named in reference to Mary Ann Carroll, the only woman to be part of the Highwaymen, a group of travelling black artists that formed in the 1950s.

The Nike Orlando Pride 2022-23 "Luna" shirt will serve as the club's away shirt and is inspired by NASA’s Artemis Program, a project that aims to land the first woman and person of color on the moon. The jersey has a silvery grey colour with a moon graphic partially covering the torso, with the orbital rings of the solar system also featured in "moon grey". The sleeves, back and round neck colour are also the same shade of moon grey.

The Portland Thorns FC 2022-23 home jersey has a bespoke design in dark anthracite and red. The unique feature of the Portland Thorns home shirt are horizontal "rose stems".
Portland Thorns 2022 Home & Away Kits Leaked
The Nike Portland Thorns 2023 away shirt puts a new spin on the club's regular rose and thorn theme by using tattoo-inspired imagery. The stone base color is paired with dark green trim on the cuffs and collar, but the chest and shoulder designs grab all the attention.

Dubbed the "Mint Kit", the Nike Racing Louisville 2022-23 away shirt combines a white base with many small, repeating, mint-colored fleur de lis on the front. The round collar and stripes down each side of the jersey also appear in this mint color, with the Nike and club logos in lavender.
