Liverpool wore their dark green third shirt for the first time last night as they secured their place in Champions League round of 16 with a win over Ajax.
Liverpool Debut Third Kit
The "Dark Atomic Teal / Rio Teal / Siren Red" kit has gotten off to a good start in what has been a very rocky season so far for the Reds. Goals from Mo Salah, Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliot last night guaranteed that Liverpool advance to the Champions League round of 16, as they roundly beat Ajax 3-0 away from home.
Teal has been used before on Liverpool away and third kits, but never in a shade as dark as the current edition and never paired with red as an accent colour. An interesting combo, the kit looked well on the pitch.
Has your opinion of the shirt changed now that you've seen worn by the players? How does Liverpool's 22-23 third kit compare to their home and away shirts this season? Comment below.
