The Richmond Kickers have unveiled a new crest and brand identity ahead of the 2025 season, honoring their legacy, the city of Richmond, and their strong community ties.
Established in 1993, the club has had a lasting impact on soccer culture in North America, and this rebranding marks the next chapter in their journey.

The new Richmond Kickers crest reflects the deep connection between the club and Richmond, with an interlocking RK monogram symbolizing this bond. Key elements include the city’s name prominently displayed, the number 93 to honor the club’s founding year, and flowing monogram legs representing the James River. The team also reintroduced navy blue to complement their iconic red, recalling their early history and championship success.
The updated brand extends to new wordmarks, a redesigned mascot, and a refreshed logo family. The redesign was led by Alex Kocher, Creative Director at Easy Friday Company, in collaboration with Alyn Carr, the club’s Director of Branding and Marketing.
