Dutch second-division club ADO Den Haag have unveiled their new home jersey for the 2023-2024 season, inspired by the team's distinctive shirts from the 1986-1989 period.
The ADO Den Haag 2023-24 home and goalkeeper strips were debuted during the last home game of coach Dick Advocaat.
ADO Den Haag 23-24 Home Kit
This is the ADO 2023-24 home football shirt, made by Erreà.
The Erreà ADO Den Haag 23-24 home jersey was influenced by the club's past successes, and it was created with input from supporters who have a deep love for the team's history.
The Erreà ADO Den Haag 23-24 home football shirt is mainly yellow with a one-of-a-kind line design that is directly inspired by the 1980s shirt.
UEFA Article 8.02: The dominant color (or colors in the case of hooped, banded, striped, or checked items) must be equally visible on the back and front of each item of playing attire, excluding the number zone on the back of shirts (see Paragraph 7.01(b)).
What is very off about the Errea ADO Den Haag 23-24 home jersey is that the back has a different color than the front - the back of the shirt is all green.
Indeed, a back that is differently colored than the front is forbidden by UEFA Equipment Rules - these seem to not apply to Dutch's second division.
The importance of the "same front/back color rule" is clearly demonstrated in photos of the match. It can be confusing for both the referee and viewers when players from the same team appear in different colors on their back and front.

ADO also revealed their three keeper shirts for the 23-24 season - they come in three different colors: orange, black, and mint green (officially "After Eight").
