Angelo Trofa (@angt34) made his name as a concept designer years ago. Recently, he joined Nike and got to work on the kits of his favorite team, Inter.
Last night he shared amazing insight into the design process of the Inter 22-23 kits, specifically the inner neck graphics.
All three of Inter's 2022-23 jerseys feature inner neck graphics inspired by the place where the club was founded in 1908, the Orologio bar in Milan. The font used on the graphics was created specifically for this collection and is based on the signage of the bar.
The bar was co-owned by the painter Giorgio Muggiani, who later designed the iconic club crest.
