Following the conclusion of the transfer market, Barcelona have finalized the squad numbers for the 2021-22 season.
Unlike previously suspected by some, Lionel Messi's number ten is not left free and is instead passed on to Ansu Fati, who is set to return to action after the international break. Realistically, it was always difficult to keep any number free as La Liga only allows numbers 1-25 to be used by first-team players - and three of those are reserved for goalkeepers (1, 13, 25).

Dembélé's old number, eleven, will now be worn by Yusuf Demir, who joined from Rapid Vienna.
New striker Luuk de Jong, on loan from Sevilla, will play wearing the number 17 shirt.
