No Jordan After All? Raheem Sterling to Sign Puma Boot Deal - Oxlade-Chamberlain to Also Leave Nike

Having scored 18 goals for club and country already this season, Raheem Sterling is one of the top attractions of the Premier League. With his current Nike deal set to expire next summer, this has led to all big brands trying to sign him up.

And after we heard that Nike was interested in making Sterling the first footballer to be signed to Jordan Brand earlier this summer, the Mirror now reports that Man City kit supplier Puma has the best chances to become Sterling's new boot brand.

No further details are given, but the source sounds pretty confident about this one. They even go on to claim that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, another English top player under contract with Nike, will also leave the brand next year to sign with Adidas.

Considering Puma's notoriety to sign up key players of the teams it supplies kits for, it doesn't seem out of place at all. The brand currently has Sergio Agüero, David Silva and Oleksandr Zinchenko under contract at City (via Football Boots DB).
