Pogba Shows Off New Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl Boost Shoes

Joining the French national team during the international break, Manchester United midfielder and most expensive football player ever, Paul Pogba was spotted wearing yet another colorway of the exclusive, Boost-featuring 5-a-side variant of the Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl he's been wearing on numerous occasions over the last few months.

Pogba's Never-Seen-Before Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl Boost Shoes

Visibly inspired by the colors of the new Adidas Viper Pack soccer cleat collection, Pogba's new Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl Boost shoes are predominantly mint-green and feature black Three Stripes on the outside. The sole of the special-edition indoor Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl boots is black, while the Boost midsole is white.

In terms of tech, Pogba's special Boost soccer shoes appear to be identical to the outdoor variant of the Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl, although the regular sole plate is switched for an indoor / asphalt solution that looks akin to what has been used for the Adidas Ace 16.1 Street, for example.

So, as proven by Pogba himself, the Street PureControl boots do exist - the million-dollar question remains whether they will ever be released to the public. Frankly, we don't know, but as Adidas is looking to introduce more indoor variants of its outdoor boots with the next generations of the Ace and the new Copa, it can be assumed that there will be an official release of the laceless Adidas Ace indoor boots at some point in the future.
