Newell's Old Boys Copy Real Madrid 24-25 Third Kit Design Idea

Newell's Old Boys have released their 2025 third kit, a bespoke design that still has a strong inspiration from Real Madrid's 2024-25 third shirt.

Madrid's 24-25 third kit was released almost exactly twelve months ago, making it extremely plausible that Newell's got at least inspired by Adidas' kit for Madrid.

The most striking similarity lies in the fabric embossing. While Madrid's kit features the "RMCF" text pattern throughout the material, Newell’s version incorporates "CANOB", referencing the club’s full name (Club Atlético Newell's Old Boys) — a near-direct stylistic nod to the Spanish giants.

The overall construction and cut of the shirt also mirror Madrid’s third kit. Both share a classic, lifestyle-esque silhouette.

Newell's has opted for a deeper gray tone. Adding to the identity, Newell's incorporates its traditional white, red, and black accent colors on the collar and sleeve cuffs.
