Nike FC Barcelona 20-21 Home Kit Design Not Imagined By Nike?
The Nike FC Barcelona introduces a fresh new design for the club - it combines the traditional Blaugrana stripes with thin yellow pinstripes between them. However, while it is an all-new take on the traditional Blaugrana stripes, the small Brazilian team EC Madureira is having a similar home kit.
Just as FC Barcelona's 20-21 kit, the Esporte Clube Madureira 2020-2021 home shirt featzres yellow stripes between the blue and red vertical stripes. And unlike the kit of Barca, it is the classic look of the club - their home jersey has been featuring the design since many years.
However, it is hard to believe that Nike was inspired by the kits of EC Madureira as they are currently just playing in the fourth Brazilian division. It is very likely just coincidence as the Brazilian club has similar colors as Barca.
Interestingly, the Brazilian club's current away kit directly reminds us of Barca's current away shirt, featuring the same colors and a similar 'Blaugrana' stripe.
