Captain Tsubasa To Feature Ligue 1 Team

Bandai Namco recently announced its' partnership with Ligue 1.

Licensed Ligue 1 Teams Kit In Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions

Bandai takes on the football genre with a different approach. Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions was released on 27 August 2020, based on the famous anime series Captain Tsubasa.

It features both online and offline modes, the latter of which players can either play the original storyline or create a whole new character similar to FIFA' Player Career mode and Pro Evolution Soccer's Become A Legend.

The new agreement between Bandai and Ligue 1 results in the implementation of official kits of 17 Ligue 1 clubs into the game. To unlock the “Home” jerseys, players will simply need to connect during a specific time window. “Away” kits will be available through online challenges.

Players who miss the time slots will also get access to those jerseys at a later date. The availability of the kits are as follow:
