The app-based company have been mostly focused on the match-worn business by collaborating with football clubs and national teams all over the world. Despite being able to create partnerships with the big guns such as AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, Benfica and even the Argentina national team, AC Momento revealed that business is not going as well as they were expecting.

In their official statement, the company revealed that they have decided to wind down their match-worn auction business with their partners. Explaining the reason for them to end their venture in the match-worn space, AC Momento explained that finance is the main issue. Considering their standard and initial ambition, the financial profit is just not enough to compensate the cost.

AC Momento to Venture in a Different Business Course

However, despite calling an end to their match-worn venture, AC Momento are not completely leaving the football business as they're planning to change course and develop a different business method instead, which is yet to be unveiled just yet.

The news might be a disappointment for football fans who have been enjoying their services in getting match-worn kits in recent months. AC Momento caught football fans' attention following the launch of their match-worn app business in 2022, notably with their ability to collaborate with the top football clubs.

The company’s method in the match-worn space is pretty unique as they prefer getting the jersey during the half-time break instead of waiting until the match is over. AC Momento also focus more on having the live auction via mobile phone apps instead of also doing it via websites like some other companies.

Acquiring authentic match-worn jerseys have become one of the latest popular fashion for football fans to get their favorite players' kits for collections. Football lovers are quite enthusiastic with this method as recently, Lionel Messi’s PSG Jersey was sold for $59,573
