Hertha BSC 25-26 Special Retro Kit Leaked - Launch Postponed Due to Events in Dresden

We can share the very first leaked images of a brand-new Castore Hertha Berlin special edition kit. While the retro-inspired jersey is an absolute beauty, fans will have to wait a little longer for its official release.

These images show the unreleased Castore Hertha BSC special retro shirt, including an advertising poster for its intended debut.

Castore Hertha Berlin 2026 Special Kit

The Castore Hertha Berlin 2026 special kit introduces a magnificent vintage aesthetic. The long-sleeve shirt features a striking diagonal half-and-half design, split between dark navy and white.

Leaning heavily into the club's heritage, the standard Hertha flag crest has been replaced by a classic, retro 'H' inside a shield for the Castore Hertha Berlin 2025-26 special jersey. The vintage look is perfectly completed with a traditional white polo collar.

To keep the aesthetic as clean as possible, the Castore letter logo is applied tonally on the dark navy half, rendering it almost invisible. Meanwhile, the "CheckCars24" also comes in a vintage typeface.

Launch Postponed Due to Events in Dresden

As seen in the leaked promotional poster, the "Old Lady" originally planned to debut this special kit this coming Saturday, April 11, 2026, in their 2. Bundesliga clash against 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

However, the club has officially postponed the presentation and launch of the jersey due to the recent events that took place in Dresden. Out of respect for the situation, the promotional campaign has been halted, and the players will wear their standard kits this weekend.

A new release date and on-pitch debut for this spectacular retro kit will be announced by the club in due course.
