A view in the official kit rules of the English FA reveals that there are strict rules regarding shirt sponsorship. The front of shirt sponsor is not allowed to exceed 250 cm², and is also not allowed to be placed as as Sash. The sponsor logo has to be placed on the chest area, in fact.

Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis said: “The kit launch is a big day for many supporters, who are keen to see what the team will be running out in during the coming season. We’ve gone for a really modern twist on how we feature the famous Paddy Power logo. Paddy Power is a very forward-thinking, innovative company – that’s one of the main reasons that we’re so excited to work with them – and this new ‘sash’ style logo is a footballing first, continuing our reputation as being innovators.”
Already when announcing the kit deal, PADDYPOWER said in their press statement that they "will bring some bite and bark to The Terriers".
PADDYPOWER Brand Marketing Director Michelle Spillane said: “We are excited to announce that we are Huddersfield Town’s shirt sponsor this season, our first foray into shirt sponsorship. They’re a club which, first and foremost, value their fans and know what it means to be a football supporter. It is pretty simple to know that the kit is a joke by PaddyPower for 'bright heads', but nevertheless a good joke by PaddyPower, at least we think so.
