After months of rumors and negotiations, FC Barcelona and Nike have officially announced the extension of their long-standing partnership.
FC Barcelona Secures Massive Nike Contract Extension Until 2038
The new Nike FC Barcelona agreement is valid until 2038 and will increase Barcelona's revenue to an average of €127 million per season, as per reports of Mundo Deportivo. The previous deal was worth around €100 million per season until 2028.
Barcelona's new Nike deal had been under negotiation for several months. At one point, Barcelona considered alternative options, including offers from other manufacturers like Puma and even the possibility of producing kits themselves. However, Nike’s willingness to match Puma’s competitive offer and their history as Barcelona's trusted partner since 2000 secured the renewal.
Additionally, Barcelona is set to receive a one-time renewal bonus of around €10 million.
