The Sweden 2025 Women's Euro away jersey has a modern, abstract design element incorporated into the fabric pattern, which is meant to pay tribute to Swedish female artists who were pioneers in abstract art.
For example, the Swedish artist Hilma af Klint (1862 - 1944) was a pioneer of abstraction. She created some of the world's first abstract paintings and then kept her work hidden from the public during her lifetime, stating in her will that her work should not be shared for at least 20 years after her death.
