Bayern to Wear "Red Against Racism" Slogan on Sleeves - No Sleeve Sponsor Yet

German giants Bayern Munich have announced that they will be wearing the slogan "Red against racism" on their sleeves during the German Supercup match against RB Leipzig.

Bayern Still Have No Sleeve Sponsor

Today, reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern will wear their own anti-racism slogan on their sleeves, occupying the vacant sponsor space. This will continue to be the case until the club have found a suitable partner.

The slogan itself is "Rot gegen Rassismus", which translates to "Red (card) against racism". In German football talk, the word "Rot" translates to red card even more than it already does in English, but it of course also ties to the club's main color.

Bayern Fans Want to End Qatar Airways Deal - Ignored By Bayern Bosses

Bayern's previous sleeve sponsorship deal began in 2018 with the controversial Qatar Airways partnership. It lasted until this June, after five years of protesting from fans.

What do you think of Bayern bridging the gap with the anti-racism slogan until they find a new sponsor? Should it remain permanent? Comment below.
