Update: The new La Liga branding was officially launched on July 1. Liga BBVA (Spanish first division) becomes LaLiga, while the second division is now called LaLiga2 (previously Liga Adelante).
The new La Liga sleeve patches were revealed with the launch of the new Sevilla 2016-2017 kit. The 2016-17 La Liga sleeve badge could also well show the new 16-17 La Liga logo.

The new La Liga sleeve patch features a round shape after the previous logo was almost completely angled. Apart from that, the logo is very similar to the previous one. It is not known yet if there will be a champions variant of the logo.

However, while the design of the 2016-17 La Liga sleeve badge is almost the same as before, it is much more interesting to see if this logo will be also used for the league next season after it was announced some months ago that Spanish bank BBVA will not remain main sponsor for the Spanish 1st and 2nd divisions.
