Like the Premier League, the German Bundesliga allows its clubs to add an own sponsor logo to their shirts after the league previously had a league-wide deal with Hermes. The new deal sees the AllyouneedFresh logo appear on Schalke's kits from the 2017-18 season.
The sleeve patch contains a unique technical detail: a chip with payment function is integrated so that all fans can pay with their jersey in Schalke's stadium, the Veltins Arena. The partnership runs for four years.
According to German newspaper reports, the new Schalke 04 AllyouneedFresh sleeve sponsor deal is worth up to 5 million Euro / season.
S04 Marketing Director Alexander Jobst: "We are very pleased to have won a long-term partner with AllyouneedFresh with the highest reputation for us and are proud to be able to present a world-novelty with the integrated chip with payment function. This once again underscores our position as the leader of the Bundesliga. "
