Manchester City superstar Raheem Sterling could be joining Jordan as the brand continues its quest to expand into football, reports the Telegraph.
Sterling is in the last year of his current boot deal with Nike and there's not shortage of suitors due to his impressive performances over the last years. Jordan seems to be very serious about this, reportedly tabling a deal worth as much as £100 million over the duration of the contract.
Although once started as a basketball-only brand by Nike and Michael Jordan, Jordan Brand has recently branched out into other sports such as baseball as well as music. The Jordan x PSG collaboration, which started last year and will run for an initial three seasons, has proven a massive success.
Should Raheem Sterling really sign with Jordan in such a big deal, we would strongly expect the brand to launch a signature boot to commemorate it. A collection of Nike x PSG x Jordan football boots were released last year, giving us an idea of how Sterling's new boots could look like.
