Portland Timbers 2014 Away and Third Jerseys Released

Both new Portland Timbers 2014 Jerseys were unveiled on March 3 as part of the MLS 2014 Jersey week. While the Timbers 2014 Home Kit is carried over from the last season, they will receive new away and third jerseys for the 2014 season. Both new Timbers 2014 Jerseys come with contrary kit styles: The dark green third kit is classical, while the new Away kit features a futuristic gradient design paying tribute to the Rose City. Pictures showing details of the Portland Timbers 2014 Secondary Shirt were unveiled by the club owner and president Merritt Paulson, who tweeted a pic of the black three Adidas stripes on the sleeves as well as a small part of the gradient design.

The new Portland Timbers 2014 Away Kit features a black / red gradient created with a special all-over print, while the sleeves of the mainly black kit are red. The red color is a tribute to the Rose City.

On the back of the shirt features the writing Stand Together, while the 'No piy in the Rose City' is written inside the collar. The authentic version of the Portland Timbers 2014 Away Kit comes with the same gradient design on the back which is used on the front, while the back of the cheaper Replica version is plain red.

Another striking element of the new Portland Timbers 2014 Away Shirt is the futuristic black / red club crest, which is placed on a black background. All applications on the Portland Timbers Away Shirt feature a plastic material look creating light reflection.

Unlike the away kit, the new Portland Timbers 2014 Third Shirt comes with a classical kit design with the colors green and yellow / gold. The club crest used for the Timbers 2014 Third Shirt is the secondary club crest, a simplified version of the normal crest with a round shape and without the Portland Timbers lettering.

On the back under the collar features a yellow / green axe to show the unity of the club. Like all MLS 2014 Shirts, the new Timbers kit comes with a yellow horizontal line on the back.
