Puma has added another star name to its roster in the form of Manchester City midfield wiz David Silva. This news is coming as big surprise since Silva had been wearing his regular Adidas Predator boots up until recently.
Instead of the Adidas Predator, David Silva will now wear the boots from the Puma ONE lineup. The most recent Puma ONE release is the one from the Stun pack, while the next generation is slated for release in early January.
Picking up David Silva aligns well with Puma's strategy since the brand has picked up quite a few high profile players over the past few months, most notably FC Barcelona striker Luis Suarez (also from Adidas). The brand will also take over the Manchester City kit deal from next season, making this even more logical.
