Former Brazil international Hernanes stood in the past few weeks in Brazil after he re-signed for Sao Paulo scoring five goals in the first five games for the club, helping the team to fight against relegation. However, the midfielder not only made the headlines because of his goals, but also because of the unique boots he has been wearing in the past few weeks.

Hernanes laced up in custom red, black and yellow Adidas Predator LZ 2012 football boots in several matches of the 2017 Brasileirão season. Introduced five years ago, the Adidas Predator LZ features five lethal zones, creating a unique look. It was the first Adidas Predator football boot with a synthetic upper.
Hernanes is sponsored by Adidas and should usually wear the brand-new Adidas X 17 boots
However, in training, Hernanes took the boot game to an even higher level as he laced up in the classic black, white and red Adidas Predator Powerserve 2007 soccer boot, Adidas' last Predator to feature a fold-over tongue.
The Adidas Predator Powerserve was the ninth incarnation of the Predator range and became one of the most iconic releases of the modern era thanks to players such as Steven Gerrard, Xavi, Robin Van Persie, Raul and David Beckham. Along the Predator zone, a layers of SmartFoam, a new more energetic material, was added to increase rebound while striking shots.
