Over 300 entries were submitted for the Hummel x Real Madrid Kit competition. Each shirt features Hummel's branding, Madrid's crest, Madrid's current sponsor, Emirates, plus, importantly, the Pantone Color of the Year 2000 - a light blue, officially called Cerulean.

Hummel is not a stranger to Real Madrid kits. Hummel had produced Madrid's kits between 1986 and 1994.
