Next-Gen Adidas Copa Pure 2024 Boots Released - Adidas End Laceless Version

Adidas have dropped the latest addition to their Copa line of football boots, and it comes with a major change - the Three Stripes have ditched the laceless edition.

The old-gen laceless Adidas Copa Pure football boots have been worn by players such as Dybala, Gvardiol, Christensen, and Tomori. We expect them to switch to the new laces Primeknit collar option. There is a chance that Adidas will create player-exclusive laceless versions of the Copa 2024 for players like Dybala.

The launch edition of the next-gen Adidas Copa Pure 2 soccer boots has the streamlined colorway of the Marinerush Pack. Blue shades are combined with white Three Stripes and striking red detailing.

The colorway evokes memories of the Adidas Adipure 11pro football boots from 2012

Looking at features, the next-gen Adidas Copa Pure 2 football boot comes in two models: the 2+ and 2.1. The 2+ comes with a laced PRIMEKNIT collar that offers a firm and comfortable fit, while the 2.1 features a textile collar for easy entry and a classic fit.

Apart from the added laces, changes are minimal. The Fusionskin upper has been refined to provide an even more improved performance, and the 2+ features 3D haptic print for precise touch. Both models come with a lightweight Torsionframe outsole that offers traction and stability.

Available since October 2023, Adidas' new Copa Pure 2 football boots retail at around USD 250 (EUR 250, GBP 220). The standard tongue option is a little bit cheaper (EUR 230)

Adidas are positioning the Copa Pure 2 as the first release of their new "Marinerush Pack," which will also bring us a Predator and X (both current-gen).
