2020-2021 UEFA Champions League Kit Battle
Nike is the clear number 1 in the 2020-2021 Champions League Group Stage with 13 of 32 clubs - more than 40%. Adidas comes second with 7 teams, followed by Puma with 6 teams. The Top 3 brands make the kits for 26 of the 32 teams (~ 83%)
Besides the Top 3 brands, there are only four other suppliers. Macron and New Balance (two teams, respectively) as well as Bilcee & Joma (1 team). For Turkish brand Bilcee, supplier of Turkish champions Basaksehir, it is the first-ever appearance in the Champions League.
Compared to previous years, Puma is likely the biggest winner. The brand managed to rise from only 1 team to 6 teams in only two years (2018-19: 1 team, 2019-20: 4 teams, 2020-21: 6 teams).
