Manchester City's Riyad Mahrez has been spotted with interesting football boots recently.
Riyad Mahrez has been sponsored by Nike for all of his career. However, while he was expected to be one of of the main players of the Phantom Vision when Nike launched the boot, he did not use them for long - Instead, he has been wearing the discontinued Nike Hypervenom for several months. Most recently, he laced up in the old second-gen Nike Hypervenom Phantom II.

Riyad Mahrez laced up in the turquoise and silver Nike Hypervenom Phantom II football boot that was released in February 2016. It is the Hypervenom boot many players were not happy with becuase of the upper - Nike released a 'Hypervenom 2.1' boot with an updated upper a few weeks later.

The fact that Mahrez has been wearing old Nike Hypervenom boots for several months now makes it likely that he will leave the Swoosh for another brand. In fact, his contract with Nike seems to have ended already.
