Update: Totally surprisingly for us, Juventus today again played with their third jersey against Porto, who also again played with their away jersey, just as three weeks ago. However, whereas the first leg required Porto to wear their away jersey at home to avoid a kit clash, Juventus could have easily played with their home jersey as New Balance released a yellow Porto third kit this season, not clashing with Juventus' black and white home jersey at all.
Juventus Wears Third Kit Even Though Porto Released Fitting Yellow Third Kit
Porto could have played with their yellow third jersey, just as they did against PSV this season.
Porto were required to wear their away kit in this evening's Champions League clash against Italian giants Juventus. This unusual situation is due to the fact Porto's blue and white home shirt clashes with all of Juventus' shirts released this season.
Juventus Has No Fitting Kit For Porto Clash
Even though Adidas released three new Juventus kits ahead of the season, none of the Juventus 2016-2017 jerseys is suited to be worn against Porto's blue and white home jersey. UEFA therefore forced the Portuguese club to wear their away kit.
However, this kit dilemma would not have happened last season when the Three Stripes released a traditional white and black home kit, a pink away shirt and a black third kit for Juventus, and this also won't be happen next season as Adidas is set to release a yellow Juventus 17-18 away kit.
Do you think that Juventus' should have used one of last season's kits? Let us know in the comments below.
