According to exclusive information by Footy Headlines, Adidas is preparing a black third kit for the Germany national football team, set to drop in the second half of 2026. The release could be the last, or second last, kit, before Nike takes over the team’s kit deal.

A black concept by designer trukapsd has been widely shared online. While Adidas reacted with an eyes emoji, the concept is very unlikely to become the official kit - we estimate around a 99% chance it won’t be the final design. Still, the black theme has been very popular among fans.
Indeed, we think Adidas just used the 👀 because they also have a black DFB kit planned.
