Newcastle United fans are eagerly awaiting the club's return to the Champions League, but there's one snag: the team's kit font still hasn't been approved by UEFA.

Newcastle United have submitted the design for approval, but there's no word yet from the club or UEFA on when it will be given the green light. There are no images of the font Newcastle submitted to UEFA.

In the meantime, Newcastle are only selling kits with Champions League badges in-store. What is quite uncommon is that customers can opt to add a Champions League patch with Premier League numbers if they wish, creating a wrong EPL/UCL mismatch kit.

It is also not known if Newcastle will have a single-colored back in the UEFA Champions League.
