Juventus v Barcelona - Champions League Final Boot Preview

We are almost there. In just over 24 hours, Juventus and Barcelona will kick off the probably biggest match of the club season to determine the 2014-15 European champion. In a match of the probably best attack against one of the best defenses in Europe, excitement is guaranteed.

Anyway, this year's Champions League final is not only interesting in terms of tactics and skill, but also regarding football boots. The all-new Adidas Football Revolution (Adidas Ace, Messi and X) will see its on-pitch debut, just as the new Nike Silver Storm Pack with Wolf Grey paint jobs for all four Nike cleat silos.

Juventus Boot XI v Barcelona

This is the predicted Juventus football boot lineup against Barcelona.

Interestingly, ahead of a kit supplier switch to Adidas for the 2015-16 season, Juventus' boot lineup only includes one player of the 3 Stripes in Álvaro Morata. Nike dominates the Juventus Champions League final boot XI with eight players, while Puma sponsors two Juventus players.

Paul Pogba recently laced up in the custom white / black Nike Magista Obra boots he wore in the semi-finals against Real Madrid, but one would be a fool to rule out another surprise boot switch from the French center midfielder.

Barcelona Boot XI v Juventus

This is the expected Barcelona lineup and their respective soccer cleats.

Barcelona's lineup includes six Adidas and five Nike players, and most of them are set to debut the recently unveiled Adidas and Nike boot silos and colorways. Dani Alves is expected to wear Adidas X 15 boots after training in them this week, following a stint in Nike Mercurial Vapor X cleats.

In terms of interesting boot choices for Barcelona, Leo Messi and Neymar stand out with customized versions of the Adidas Messi 15 and Nike Hypervenom II lines they are headlining. Additionally, Jordi Alba, Rafinha and Martín Montoya were all seen training in the Adidas X 15 K-Leather cleat variant, an unusual choice.
