This picture shows the 2018 Ballon d'Or Nike Mercurial Vapor XII Luka Modric Ballon d'Or cleats, dubbed the 'Golden Touch' edition.
The 2018 Ballon d'Or Nike Mercurial Luka Modric football boots introduce a clean design in silver with a black Swoosh outlined in gold. The boots are available both as Superfly VI and as Vapor XII.
Instead, they come with a fingerprint-inspired all-over print, which ties in well with the 'Golden Touch' name, as well as a fingerprint plate on the heel, black with gold details.
The Nike Mercurial 2018 Ballon d'Or boots were revealed shortly after Modric won the trophy and will be available to buy from 4 December with 1,500 pairs available per model. They are expected to retail at a higher price than regular Superfly 6 and Vapor 12s.
