After a wait of almost four years, the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) has finally found a new sponsor for the men's national team, according to reports from Irish newspapers.
Revolut to Become Ireland's Main Sponsor - Kits to Be Sold With Main Sponsor Only?
Global payments company Revolut is said to be in the leading position to secure the sponsorship deal for the front of the Ireland football kit.
Of course, Ireland will not wear the Revolut sponsor in games, as this is forbidden by UEFA's and FIFA's rules for football equipment. It "just" means that Ireland's kits will be sold with the Revolut logo, which will be also visible in the launch and promo pics.
It seems likely that Castore will release new Ireland kits for the 2024 March games. Ireland is not qualified for the Euro 2024.
The Ireland Women's national team is sponsored by Sky and a deal that will run until the end of 2025. Three had been Ireland's Men's sponsor before.
