Some days ago, the FIFA Legends team played in a friendly against a selection of Mexico's best retired players. However, the kit worn by the famous selection was anything but fitting for the players' status.
Adidas FIFA Legends Jersey
The Adidas FIFA Legends jersey has indeed been worn since 2024 and is based on one of the brand's most budget-friendly offerings.
The white shirt features a custom-added fully sublimated design with a vertical sash composed of flags from FIFA member nations running down the center. The flag sash design is cheaply printed and stops abruptly at the top and back before reaching the actual end of the shirt.
An uninspired "FIFA Legends" branding appears in the cutout of the sash, with the old Adidas logo on the left chest.
A blue colorway of the same design also exists, offering an (in our opinion) better-looking alternative to the white base. Both versions maintain the same sublimated flag pattern that celebrates global football representation.
The jersey has been worn in various FIFA Legends matches and exhibitions since its introduction. While functional for its purpose, the design clearly prioritizes cost efficiency.
Mexico Legends Kits
Meanwhile, the Mexico Legends XI received a more stylish purple jersey. It has a standard Adidas pattern (officially inspired by the unique landscape of Nuevo León) and a neutral purple color.
Is this design fitting for FIFA Legends, or should they receive better kits from Adidas? Let us know in the comments below.
