Nike becomes the new kit supplier of the Chile national football team for the first time in the history of the country. The new Nike Chile Kit Deal will commence after the 2015 Copa America in Chile and runs at least until the end of the 2022 World Cup qualification process.
Nike replaces previous shirt sponsor Puma, who became Chile's jersey supplier in 2011. Nike won the battle to make the new Chile Football Kits against Adidas, Puma and Under Armour, who all made offers to kit out Chile after the 2015 Copa America.
Chile Sign 8-Year Nike Kit Deal
The new Nike Chile Kit Deal will commence after the 2015 Copa America.
The new Football Federation of Chile (ANFP) Nike Kit Deal is worth $7 million per year - more than twice the previous kit deal with Puma. In total, Nike will pay the Football Federation of Chile $56 million for eight years.
The first Chile Nike 2015 Home and Away Kits are expected to be launched soon after the 2015 Copa America.
Chile joins national teams such as Nigeria, Norway, China and South Africa, who signed Nike kit deals over the past 18 months. It's expected that the new Nike Chile Kit Deal will be officially announced very soon.
