Chelsea defender David Luiz has caught the attention of boot addicts wearing the classic black and white Nike Premier II soccer cleats in the 2018-19 season .
David Luiz was one of the faces when Nike launched the all-new Nike Magista in 2014. It was expected that he would switch to the Nike Phantom VSN that replaced the Nike Magista.
David Luiz Wears Nike Premier Football Boot in 2018-2019 Season
David Luiz was spotted with the Nike Premier football boot in the first pre-season training session and has not worn any other boots in this season so far.
The Nike Premier II soccer shoe is Nike's modern heritage boot. Usually not worn by any high-profile players, the Nike Premier II boot features a Kangaroo leather upper, a classic fold-over tongue and a full-length TPU plate. It is Nike's competitor of the Nike Premier II.
Most other players who wore the Nike Magista switched to the Nike Phantom VSN. However, there are a few players who are still sporting the Nike Magista (e.g. Iniesta), while Sergio Busquets received a custom low-cut Nike Phantom Vision soccer cleat.
