Fans Unhappy - CF Montreal to Change Logo Again

New CF Montréal 2023 Logo

Here is Montréal's new logo that will be used starting next season.

The new Montréal 2023 crest maintains the current circular shape, but brings back a lot more blue, the club's primary color. It also sees the return of the shield and a more prominent fleur-de-lis, which now sit in the middle of the crest.

Rather than 'Club de Foot Montréal', only 'CF Montréal' is now written at the top of the logo, no longer appearing a second time at the bottom. The bottom now features the club's inaugural year (1993), sitting on blue and black vertical stripes.

In general, the 2023 logo does away with the snowflake design and the emphasis on the new 'Club de Foot' name. A lot of elements from the previous Montréal Impact shield were carried over.

Possible 2023 Montréal Away Kit

Here is a mock-up of the current away kit with the new Montreal crest.

As is customary in MLS, every kit has a two-year lifecycle, which means the current 2022 away shirt will also be worn in 2023, when the new Montréal logo is set to be used.
