Spark Brilliance: Nike Euro 2016 Film Teaser Released

Nike today announced that they are set to launch their first advert for the Euro 2016 in France after the US-giant already teased the release of the Spark Brilliance Euro 2016 film in yesterday's Ligue 1 clash between French champions PSG and AS Monaco. The new Nike Football Spark Brilliance film will be revealed on March 22.

"We believe that brilliant football is contagious, and that one brilliant move can set the game on fire. This is much more than a story of drive and accomplishment. It represents Nike's footballing philosophy and the athlete's journey towards sporting victory," affirms Lorenzo Moretti, VP Western Europe Football.

Spark Brilliance the Film: Coming March 22

Here is the first teaser of Nike's Euro 2016 film.

The first teaser video does not show very much except a young Matuidi who is fascinated after seeing an outstanding volley goal of former Nigerian footballer Jay-Jay Okocha, who is famous for creating unforgettable moments.

"Jay-Jay Okocha was my favorite player as a young boy. I used to love to watch him play for my team," remembers Matuidi. "He was the player who lifted the team and the fans with moments of skill and ability on the ball. Seeing his moments of brilliance inspired me to make it happen."

The full film will feature notable cameos from PSG athletes and Matuidi's French football teammates, and kicks-off the Nike Football Summer campaign.
