Confirming rumors from earlier this month, Juventus and Japanese company Cygames a few days ago confirmed that they've re returned to being partners.
The company already had its logo appear on the back of Juventus shirts between 2017 and 2019, but stopped when the club signed a deal with Konami.
Juventus Sign First-Ever Back Sponsor Deal in History
While no details were confirmed by the two parties, an earlier report in Gazzetta dello Sport valued the deal between Cygames and Juventus at €10 million per season. For comparison, Adidas pays around €50 million and Jeep €42m per season.
“With Cygames we have experienced exhilarating moments - underlines Giorgio Ricci, Chief Revenue Officer of Juventus - marked by prestigious victories, and now we are back on the path towards new goals. The fact that the partnership resumes today, after difficult months like the last, is a further sign of how strong the synergy between the two brands is, which share the momentum, energy, a strong desire to start again, and who look towards the future with positivity."
