Even though the new Germany Euro 2016 Home Jersey won't be revealed till early November, it's already available to pre-order in the official DFB (German FA) online store. And although the Germany Euro 2016 Jerseys were already leaked some months ago, the German Football Federation still makes a secret of the final design.
Set to be debuted in the friendly against France on November 13, the German Football Federation announced that the new Germany Euro 2016 Home Strip will be revealed on November 9 under the slogan #WirAlleZusammen (that translates to 'We All Together'). But more interestingly, the German FA showcased an illustration confirming the leaked design.
Germany Euro 2016 Home Kit Design Confirmed
This is the 'not original illustration' of the Germany Euro Shirt.
Instead of using a plain shirt with the iconic DFB logo, the German Football Federation decided to take an actual image of the new Germany Euro Shirt while removing and adding several elements to disguise the final design. So what has stayed the same and was it different?
The collar and the positioning of the Three Stripes on the side of the DFB Home Shirt illustration is the same used for the actual Germany Euro 2016 Kit. But more importantly, each seam is exactly the same as each seam of the real kit, and the DFB crest is also almost identical.
To make it not too obvious, the designer who created the illustration removed the Adidas branding, enlarged the DFB logo and added some bright German flag details on the sleeves, the sleeve cuffs and the side of the shirt. The unique vertical chart depicting the Germany national team's historic World Cup and Euro rankings was removed as well.
The Germany 2016 Home Kit retails at a price of 85 Euro and will be delivered just in time for the friendly against France with a 'modern and practical Gym Back featuring a DFB design', which is free of charge.
