New Hull City Crest Unveiled

English Premier club Hull City today unveiled the new 2014 Hull City Logo, which will be used on all club collateral from the start of the 2014/15 season. The new Hull City Club Crest features a simplistic, clean and modern design, removing the club name Hull City AFC as well as the nickname "The Tigers".

The popular Tigers head remains within a shield, accompanied only by ‘1904’ – the year of the club’s formation. The lack of the club’s name is certain to spark debate among supporters.

Speaking at the unveiling of the new crest, Vice-Chairman Ehab Allam said: "We are delighted to unveil our new crest for 2014/15. "This is a more stripped back and modern approach which still celebrates the Club’s heritage and history by focusing on our famous and well established Tigers head. We have also introduced ‘1904’ to the crest to document the year our club was formed."

The new Hull City 14-15 Kits will be made by Umbro, after they signed a four-year kit deal with the Double Diamond brand Umbro in April 2014.
