Nike to stop making the Nike Tiempo after more than 20 years
Last year, Nike celebrated the 20-years anniversary of the iconic Nike Tiempo Soccer Cleats with a limited edition Nike Tiempo XX Collection. The Nike Tiempo XX Boot Collection included a special Nike Tiempo Legend V Boot and a Nike Tiempo '94 lifestyle shoe.
In fact, the last new generation of the Nike Tiempo Legend Cleat was revealed in December 2013, when Nike launched the Nike Tiempo Legend V Boots featuring a premium Kangaroo leather upper. In early 2015, Nike revealed the classy Nike Tiempo Legend V Premium Boots with a classical fold-over tongue, exclusively made for Francesco Totti.
Nike to release leather Nike Hypervenom, Magista and Mercurial
As Nike will discontinue the Nike Tiempo Legend Boots, Nike will release leather versions for the cutting-edge Nike Hypervenom 2, Nike Magista Obra and Nike Mercurial Superfly Soccer Cleats. With the new leather cleats, Nike offers players a leather boot matching their style of play, and give players a greater selection of leather boots.
Some weeks ago, it already emerged that Adidas will stop making the Adidas F50 Adizero, Predator, Adipure and Nitrocharge Boots.
