Sami Khedira Wore Special Tiempo Legend 8 For His Last Match

The decorated defensive midfielder has recently announced his retirement from football. For his last game with Hertha Berlin, Sami Khedira has his boots customised to sign off his playing career.

Despite spending the whole season wearing the Phantom GTs, Khedira opted for a pair of Tiempo Legend for his last ever professional football match.

On the right boot are the major trophies that he won during his career, which started from 2006 to 2021, from left to right: Bundesliga (2006-07), Champions League (2013-14), La Liga (2011-12), World Cup (2014) and Serie A (5 seasons from 2015-2020).

The left boot detail the clubs Khedira has played for: Stuttgart, Real Madrid, Juventus and Hertha Berlin while the Germany national team's logo sit in the middle.

In addition to the Tiempos, he also played with a pair of custom shinpads with graphics of his various portraits and the date of his last match 22.05.2021.
